2025 Brand Identity • Adobe Illustrator InDesign

For this project, I designed a branding system for a fictional nonprofit organization called Books Unbound. This organization is dedicated to raising awareness about book bans and the broader issue of censorship. At its core, the organization aims to foster inclusive local spaces where parents, teens, and children can come together to engage in open dialogue about the impact of censorship and the importance of access to diverse literature.

The branding package includes: a logo, custom icons, patterns, a color and typography palette, Instagram post templates, a stationery set, billboard design, and promotional materials such as bookmarks and pamphlets.

The visual identity strikes a balance between professionalism and vibrancy, designed to target the attention of both adults and children. At its center is an abstract, open book logo which symbolizes the unbounding of stories and ideas, while evoking a sense of inclusivity and openness for all audiences.
