World Design Capital (WDC) 2024 San Diego–Tijuana was a year-long celebration of design, marking the first-ever binational designation in the program’s history. Recognized by the World Design Organization (WDO), this designation highlighted the region’s commitment to human-centered design and its legacy of cross-border collaboration to address urban, social, cultural, and environmental challenges.

 

My poster, "Foster Unity, Not Division," was selected for the Binational Youth Poster Exhibition in the Equity, Social Justice, Health & Wellbeing category. This exhibition featured 16 outstanding designs, including mine, which were showcased at UCSD Park & Market in San Diego and IMAC Tijuana.
